Machine Learning and AI

Build AI Foundations, Solve Real-World Challenges - Designed for High School Students

Service Description

Certificate - DeepBlue AI Academy offers an interactive, hands-on, eight-week course that provides a foundational introduction to AI and machine learning. By the end of the course, you will be able to clearly explain core machine learning concepts, work with diverse data types, prepare datasets, build and train basic machine learning models, and apply these concepts to address real-world challenges, such as recognizing handwritten characters or predicting health outcomes from data. This course also prepares students to excel in data science competitions by developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Our program is led by top-tier faculty specializing in Machine Learning and AI, providing practical experience with real-world projects. Join us to dive deep into artificial intelligence and prepare for a future in data science. Prerequisites: This course involves programming at a beginner to intermediate level. You’ll write code that typically consists of a few hundred lines, usually contained within a single file. We will use Python, though prior Python knowledge is not required if you have basic programming skills in any high-level language (e.g. R, Java, C/C++, JavaScript) are sufficient. Python syntax is easy to pick up. You should be familiar with the following coding concepts: - Variables: Integers, floating-point numbers, characters, and strings - Data Structures: Basic structures such as Lists and Dictionaries - Basic Programming Statements: If statements, Loops, Functions etc. Comfort with High School Level Algebra is recommended. Machine learning relies on mathematical concepts, but any math beyond high school Algebra will be explained as we go.
